When R U Coming Back Home

a film by Dafi Altabeb & Nini Moshe

Excerpt of When r u coming back home

During the last 2 years, our “physical” home became the centre of our life; We worked in it, hid inside, secluded, argued, screamed and laughed.

Sometimes we forget that we can ,for a moment, return to “us”, to our own private home, to our bodies. We moved away from it, returned, remembered that it includes everything inside and wherever we go it’s with us, the soundbox of emotions, feelings and memories.

In a fascinating cooperation with 4 dancers, in 4 different countries, each one located in his private home, we tried to understand the connection between the house we live in, the 4 walls, and the hall that is our body.

We asked questions, toured with our camera and visited each other’s home, trying to learn and get to know one another through the various rooms, habits and yearnings. Tried to understand what everyone is longing for while being in its own home.
